Who this tour suits
- Riders who want the classic Ladakh highlights, with a Leh base and fewer passes (6, including Khardung La (5,359 m) and Umling La).
- Riders who prefer a gentler start: a monastery day near Leh helps you acclimatise before the high passes.
- Experienced road riders stepping up to high-altitude touring. It is still rated Challenging, with long days on rough roads.
- Riders with about two weeks of leave who want Nubra, Pangong, Hanle and Tso Moriri.
